You can’t believe how excited I am to get this nib reground so quickly! Your workmanship is beyond words.
So much of my day involves writing and surprisingly I start very early in the morning recording all of my “moves” on legal paper using a Windows 7 version of RISK. I do this to get myself focused and disciplined on writing legible letters that are evenly spaced. I sit with proper posture and use my arm motion on concert with my hand and fingers. At work, I use my pens to make notes during court cases, hearings and meetings. I just finished making a note and signing a friend’s birthday card. A Facebook greeting just doesn’t compare.
Having one of your reground nibs helps to make writing a more pleasurable experience! I only wish younger people who seem preoccupied with texting could experience the joy of owning a superb writing instrument. Having this kind of pen makes me want to be a better communicator. It helps me to remember words while forming my thoughts. In short, the nib you reground will no doubt be connected to my cerebrum via my central nervous system.

DOUBLE TROUBLE!
Two difficult pens modified with extra flex! One is a Pilot Custom 823 with added flex. Tricky to do because the nib is a unique shape. The other is a Mont Blanc 149 with a special nib that also had additional flex added to it.
Judge for yourself, they sure can perform! My wife Janet Takahashi is a master calligrapher and she did the writing samples.

A big shout out to my good client Chip Sullivan who requested to have one of his Mont Blanc 149 pens ground to a custom .50mm size, down from the factory size of .70mm
It takes a lot of careful shaping to create a tip that is exactly like a factory .50mm size. Least to Chip is very happy;

Sam purchased a custom, smooth and juicy 1.50mm Parker 51 pen recently from me, and he is quite pleased;
“I’ve really been enjoying the pen. That nib is just outstanding. Generally speaking I like oversize pens with broad stubs and italics, in particular pens with thick grip sections. “Oversize and thick” is needless to say not how one would describe a Parker 51. But it’s also the case that something like a Delta Dolcevita Oversize doesn’t exactly fit in a jacket pocket very felicitously. This 51 gives me the kind of nib I really like but in the perfect size and weight for carrying on my person.
