These pen rarely leak due to their feed/section design.
Only one sweet spot to write with this nib, ouch!
Quite the flat foot!
Nice and rounded!
Talk about cracks everywhere! How many cracks can you count?
After 3 hours of careful welding the repairs are complete!
Small bead welds assure the least amount of gold is used but also a strong bond is created
Hand engraving of those missing letter forms and numbers done with a 10x magification
Some tricky fitting was needed but now aligned and ready to go.
#12 eyedropper Parker, nice pen!
Quite the bend when this nib hit the tile floor of the owner!
You can see that the nib tines and tip bent evenly down.
Tricky repair because the nib is bent inward as well
Careful hand manipulation of the tipping and alignment of the tines produced this results, quite good!
Nearly parallel and true, ready to write
Nice gap to allow proper ink flow!

Came out pretty good and another rare nib has now been saved by my workshop!

These nibs are rare, and this one really needed some re-tip attention. The Customer wanted a 1.00mm stub.
Close up of the nib tip area. Definite need for a Re-tip here!
After the "Magic" things are looking better!
Looking good! New tipping material is now ready for the owner to enjoy!
And 1.00mm Stub to boot!
What a Horrid Vintage Aurora Nib! Someone has chewed this one up!
There is some serious damage for sure!
